The 800,000 ton per year Rebar Rolling Mill Project (Project) is a Greenfield design, erection, and commissioning of a steel mill capable of hot-rolling steel products called rebar (PNS49). Rebar are used for construction, specifically for concrete reinforcement. Steel Asia management is considering the construction of a new Rebar Rolling Mill Plant to provide adequate supply of raw material for its downstream facility and serve the Philippine market’s need for bar products. The Project site is an approximately 24 hectare.
